Social Media Community Manager

We are looking for a social media community manager for a small restaurant group consisting of three restaurants in and around Cape Town.

The social media community manager will work closely with the operations manager for the venues

  • Social media management for three restaurant venues across seven social media platforms
  • Content development and planning
  • Management of boosted content and reporting
  • Community management for all platforms
  • Campaign development and implementation


  • Post-matric marketing qualification
  • Expertise in social media marketing
  • Self-motivated and a passion for the food and beverage industry
  • High attention to detail
  • Organised and efficient
  • Own transport
  • Own laptop
  • Excellent communication skills
  • One to two years of previous experience in this field – advantageous but not imperative
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Eager to learn and passionate about the world of marketing
