Graphic Designer

General Description
The main role will be to set, maintain and improve the overall quality and efficiency of graphic design. Responsible for delivering creative and innovative work. Designing and developing multimedia content in a wide variety of mediums.


  • Matric
  • Relevant graphic design qualification will be advantageous
  • Minimum of five years’ work experience as a graphic designer
  • Technical knowledge and proficiency of design software essential (Adobe CS6: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, MS Office and social media)

  • Designing and developing graphics and multimedia content for product illustrations, logos, websites and videos.
  • Setting up and implementing production processes and technical standards for graphics
  • Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to internal and/or external clients
  • Working to a brief, solve problems creatively and adapt style if needed
  • Providing quality control over concepts, processes, deliverables and projects
  • Technical and creative up-skilling of staff, as necessary
  • Providing guidance on research and development projects, driving innovation and advising on new techniques and approaches
  • Responsible for art direction and graphic design, seeing all projects through from concept, design, production, completion and delivery
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Marketing team on all creative projects in adherence to project timelines
  • Take charge of brand creative assets
  • Follow the company’s brand identity standards and guidelines
  • Execution of graphic design and development
  • Wide-ranging photo-retouching and image development
  • Identify and create best designs for projects
  • Create new and original designs from scratch for associated brands based on identified needs and brand image
  • Stay current on industry trends
  • Design and produce marketing and advertising communications (print and digital)
  • Collaborate on store design and layout
