Design/Marketing Manager

My client needs a marketing manager to join their team. They are great with babies and we know how to develop and sell the best products to meet their and mom’s needs, but we lack the skills and expertise to market the business effectively. That’s where you come in! You’ll be responsible for developing, initiating, creating and overseeing marketing campaigns as well as spearheading all digital channels and design.

The ideal candidate will have experience in copywriting, art direction and social media who can expand the brands’ reach locally while increasing brand loyalty and awareness.

Duties and responsibilities: 

Email marketing

  • Template design in MailChimp
  • Email automation campaign development and deployment
  • A/B testing
  • Newsletter deployment, list optimisation and database growth strategies


  • Skills in digital photography especially product photography (white background)
  • shoot styling
  • rendering for photos


  • Extensive knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and AdWords campaign development
  • Certified in Google Analytics, AdWords
  • Daily monitoring and adjustments of keywords, bids, and budgets
  • Highly proficient in using analytic tools to assess the performance of paid campaigns
  • Proven ability to lead social/digital initiatives that produce results
  • Build target audiences and execute digital ads for Facebook and Instagram
  • Content creation
  • Copywriting skills
  • Develop a content strategy for both the website blog and social channels


  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
  • Up to date with the following software and technologies specifically with mockups, web design and multimedia presentation
  • Adobe Suite – InDesign and Photoshop
  • Word Press
  • WooCommerce
  • MailChimp
  • Bachelor’s Degree in fine art design, digital marketing or related qualification
  • Two to four years of progressive work experience with digital marketing, website development and engagement, analytical research, and advertising, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and building interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers
  • Willingness to learn and expand skill set as required for projects.
  • Ability to work independently, effectively solve problems and handle multiple projects simultaneously
