Reed’s Travel, Tourism & Sports Portfolio Team on the Rise

On the back of a successful World Travel Market Africa (WTM Africa) and International Luxury Travel Market Africa (ILTM Africa) – and with FIBO Global Fitness Africa’s Trade Summit and Health, Fitness & Wellness Festival on the horizon for October 2019  – organisers Reed Exhibitions South Africa have announced several internal promotions in the Travel, Tourism & Sports Portfolio.

WTM Africa 2019 saw 15 % growth in Travel Professional attendance, as well as a 20% increase in the number of Hosted Buyers. 88% of the buyers who attended ILTM Africa 2019 were new to the event, with attendees coming from Kenya, Poland, Denmark and France for the first time.

Megan Oberholzer assumes the role of Portfolio Director: Travel, Tourism & Sports Portfolio from her previous General Manager role in the same space.

Megan Oberholzer assumes the role of Portfolio Director: Travel, Tourism & Sports Portfolio from her previous General Manager role in the same space.

 

Martin Hiller – formerly GM for FIBO Global Fitness Africa – assumes the General Manager for the Travel, Tourism & Sports Portfolio role. While he will continue to manage FIBO Global Fitness Africa, he now adds ILTM Africa, WTM Africa, and the African Travel & Tourism Industry Awards to his portfolio.

Martin Hiller assumes the General Manager for the Travel, Tourism & Sports Portfolio.

 

Reante Naidoo has been promoted to Marketing & Hosted Buyer General Manager for the Travel, Tourism & Sports Portfolio. Her new role will see her managing all Buyer Programmes across Travel Tourism & Sports Portfolio shows, as well as overseeing Marketing for ILTM Africa, WTM Africa and FIBO Global Fitness Africa.
