Enashipai Resort & Spa, the only five-star hotel in Naivasha, announced that they are banking on KQ’s direct flight to America to target more corporate and incentive-based business.

“Given that it only takes ninety-minutes from the airport to the hotel via the Nairobi Southern Bypass road, we have seen more and more travellers choose to spend their first night in Naivasha. We’ve received great reviews from guests saying that the scenic mini-safari drive as well as the fresh country air make for a perfect start to exploring the country for business or leisure,” said Wanjeri Mahiti, Sales and Marketing Director.

Kenya is not new to Americans as it already receives over 100 000 travellers every year, according to statistics released by the Kenya Tourism Board. Additionally, a good number of American companies have chosen Kenya for their African or regional headquarters and it is envisioned that the new direct flight will increase both trade and tourism access making Kenya even more attractive.

“For us at Enashipai, we foresee a situation where a client has their lunch on Friday in New York and at noon the following day they are watching hippos have their lunch by our lakefront,” says Wanjeri. “Wouldn’t that be exciting? From concrete jungle sky scrapers to lush green tropical gardens, Enashipai promises to be the perfect location to start or end any safari.”

With the MICE segment of tourism taking centrestage in Naivasha, Enashipai will be attending IMEX America – a meetings and events trade show in Las Vegas this October – to meet with global bookers to discuss MICE trends for 2019 and beyond while also negotiating business deals. Enashipai is also pleased to announce that they will be partnering with Safaricom to host the October 20th Safaricom Jazz at Hell’s Gate National Park where Dianne Reeves, a five-time Grammy Award winner, will be performing. An exciting promotion is currently running with the hashtag #MeetAtEnashipai – go online and find out more.

Enashipai is a Maasai word meaning “a place of happiness.”

Located within the splendour of the Great Rift Valley by the shores of Lake Naivasha, this multi award-winning resort is only one hour away from the capital city of Kenya, Nairobi. With richly landscaped gardens, indulgently spacious accommodation, a luxurious world-class spa and a state of the art conference centre, it is easy to see why people keep choosing to return to Enashipai.

Considered an all year round vacation and business destination this resort offers boat rides to see hippos up close, an outdoor pool, the Maa Museum, free Wi-Fi, in and outdoor playgrounds, a fully-equipped gym, tennis/basketball courts and a sound proof nightclub to dance the night away.

The resort is also strategically located within close proximity of some of Kenya’s key attractions such as Mt. Longonotand The Hell’s Gate Park, which is home to over 100 bird species and a wide variety of wildlife. The resort opened its doors for business in April 2011.
